Tierra Valiente is co-stewarded by a collective of twenty partners, half of which currently live on the land. We are artists, activists, creators, builders, mystics and healers from around the world including Costa Rica, Canada, South Africa, Portugal, the US, Netherlands, Israel, Zimbabwe and others.

We are mostly immigrants and diaspora from our “home” countries and live in the complexity of living outside of our homelands. Although we do not believe anyone “owns” land we respect that many of us are living outside the cultural context we are born into. As such, we aim to be contributing members of our bio-region, being in solidarity with the original wisdom keepers and Indigenous peoples of these lands. This is why our mutual aid network, Fuerza De Amor, is so critical, in addition to our work in dismantling narratives and structures of oppression in the global field.
