Rumi’s Kitchen
Rumi’s Kitchen is our communal dining space, and is also known as the heart of the center. This is where we gather to share plant-based meals that are lovingly prepared from the organic fruits and vegetables grown on the land or sourced from local farmers.
The structure is open to the rainforest yet covered by a vaulted, bamboo roof designed to mimic the shape of a leaf. The dining area is connected to an open kitchen, a patio with additional seating and the food-growing gardens creating an intentional link with where our food comes from, the preparation of our food and the enjoyment of nourishing meals.
Under the mango tree in our garden, we have an outdoor fire pit where we gather under the stars and share songs and stories. Our tea lounge is a cozy space to sip tea and curl up with a book or enjoy conversation.
